Laboratory Testing

Laboratory Testing is required to know the things better and to get the accurate result practically. The root of a lab test's reliability is grounded in the hard science of statistics. A laboratory testing method must meet certain statistical objectives before it can even be considered eligible for use in laboratory. As technology enables more rapid advancement in the laboratory sciences and as headlines tout the latest research, understanding how a lab testing gets to market may help you to put such news into its appropriate context.

It is necessary, first, to understand that there are essentially two kinds of lab tests: those that are manufactured and sold in volume as kits to laboratories and those that are developed within a particular laboratory (called laboratory-developed assays). In each case, their development and entry into the market – that is, their use on customer specimens – is governed by sets of rules that ensure their accuracy and reliability.
In Laboratory Testing, we do many tests in laboratory. In laboratory we do different type of testing like:
1- Clinical Testing
2- Medical Testing
3- Blood Testing
4- Physiological Testing
5- Chemical Testing
6- Environmental Testing
7- Water Testing
8- Metallic Testing
9- Drug Testing
10-  Urine Testing
11-  Software Testing
12-  and laboratory result testing

We do laboratory testing to examine the testing result, to get the exact result, to know about the product or things and for different kind of research.  In laboratory testing we do different type of analysis of the result that is called Analytical Laboratory Testing. In theory we learn the result in books but by doing laboratory testing we get the result practically. That’s why laboratory testing is essential for students, scientists and researchers.

The process required for a laboratory test to proceed from conception to market is a long process. Research testing, clinical evaluation, development of manufacturing processes and marketing strategies, reimbursement analyses, and review by regulatory authorities must take place before a lab testing is approved for market may take years. It is a time-intensive process with no assurance that the product, once marketed, will actually be adopted by customer and health care providers.

The Search for a Solution
There is many reasons for laboratory testing and is several ways in which a new test may be developed. One way is through evolving clinical use. A lab testing may have been developed for one purpose, but over time, a new use for the laboratory testing becomes apparent. The most common way a lab testing gets developed, however, is through the recognition of a need for an accurate lab testing to detect a particular result or condition.

For Laboratory Testing we need a Laboratory Room. To do the tests in laboratory for laboratory testing we need appropriate equipments, good services and the entire requirement for testing. For laboratory testing we need a very good laboratory management.

Who will do the laboratory testing? Laboratory Testing is a different subject. Many students get education and training for this laboratory testing. The laboratory staffs are team of skilled professionals with education in a variety of scientific areas. The majority of laboratory testing is performed by Laboratory Scientists, researchers and Laboratory Technicians. Other individuals involved in laboratory practice include physicians other scientists, laboratory assistants.

There are many companies; industries, collages and university provide lab room for laboratory testing. There are different types of laboratory testing rooms available for different types of laboratory testing. Laboratory testing varies according to the purposes of testing. Laboratory testing process varies according to the testing. Laboratory testing developed a lot. Laboratory testing methods, products, equipments, practices are changing by time to time. The research and development of new products takes place in industry, university, and hospital laboratories. Today, partnerships and collaborations are increasing. An academic laboratory or start-up company might conduct the initial investigations into the identification of new laboratory testing markers. Such as today, many diagnostic companies have partnerships with academic laboratories and with smaller companies specializing in new emerging areas of technology.

Investments of time and money into a new laboratory testing can take years before the benefits are finally realized. Laboratory Testing development can take anywhere from one to six years, depending on how complicated the test is. A number of ideas for lab testing never make it to the clinical trial stage, where the safety and efficacy are evaluated on customer volunteers, and sometimes a promising lab testing that physicians read about in the scientific literature never becomes commercially available. Increasingly, the technology required to bring new laboratory testing to market involves the combined research and financial resources of private industry, such as device manufacturers, laboratory companies, and academic laboratories. Like most businesses interested in developing new products, companies that develop new lab testing pay attention to where the need is greatest.
